About the author
I have been wanting to write this book for years. Not months. Years. It has lived in me for longer than I can properly explain. A quiet nudge that never fully went away no matter how loud life got.
This book did not start out as what it became. When I began writing it I had no idea how deep it would go. But I was not alone in the making of it, and what was built here carried the hearts of more than just one person. None of what lives in these pages was entirely planned. But it was meant to be here before this book ever reached you.
I wrote it for you. For the version of you who needed these words and did not have them.
